Since 1892, Wilton Armetale has constructed unique serving pieces in silver and pewter, gracefully combining beauty and durability. Individually handcrafted in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, no two pieces are exactly alike. Non-toxic metal ensures the safety of all food items, and effectively keeps a side dish or main course at the desired temperature. Wilton Armetale guarantees that under normal circumstances, serveware pieces will not rust, tarnish, crack, chip, or dent.
Based upon the coat-of-arms of William III and Queen Mary, this intricate, baroque-inspired design adds a sense of grandeur to the table. Elaborate scrollwork, meandering vines, and interwoven flowers are opulently sculpted in low relief, adding a sense of regal dignity. Measuring 13-1/4 inches in diameter, this medium round tray complements other tableware pieces in the same pattern. The detailed design covers much of the outer rim, offsetting the highly polished interior serving area. For best results, Wilton Armetale recommends washing all serving pieces by hand, and instructs users not to place them in the microwave or dishwasher. --Lea Werbel
Wilton Armetale Serveware. "Cooks Hot. Serves Hot. Stays Hot." Made with Armetale metal, the product will not rust, tarnish, crack, chip, or dent. Armetale serveware is food safe and can be used on the stove or in the oven. Though strongly baroque, this design is at home in classic and traditional styling environments, making a bold statement for decorative or practical use.
